LifeHandled Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies between you, the user of LifeHandled’s website and services, and LifeHandled LLC (“LifeHandled,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). LifeHandled takes the privacy of your information seriously. This policy explains how we collect, store, use, and disclose your data when you use our website, intake forms, and services. By accessing our website, submitting any information, or using LifeHandled in any capacity, you agree to this Privacy Policy in full. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

1. Definitions
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:Data means all information you submit to LifeHandled through our website (including Website-hosted pages), our third-party intake form provider, Stripe payment processing, or any other written channel, and includes information collected automatically in connection with your use of our services. This definition incorporates, where applicable, the definitions provided in relevant U.S. state privacy laws and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by our website for analytics, security, and functionality.

LifeHandled, we, us, or our refers to LifeHandled LLC, located in the State of Utah.

User or you means any third party that accesses our website or services and is not employed by LifeHandled in the course of their employment.

U.S. State Privacy Laws refers to applicable consumer privacy laws including, but not limited to, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) (“CCPA/CPRA”), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”), Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (“UCPA”), and Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies only to actions of LifeHandled and users with respect to our website, intake forms, payment processing, and services. It does not extend to any websites or platforms that can be accessed from our website, including links to third-party websites or tools, or any other online resources that are not owned or controlled by LifeHandled.

3. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Directly from you — for example, when you submit a form, send us an email, or provide task instructions.

Automatically through technology — such as IP address, browser type, device information, and basic analytics through cookies or similar technologies.

From third-party tools we use — including tools for hosting, tools for form submission and payment integration, and Stripe for payment processing.

4. Categories of Data Not Collected
LifeHandled does not request the following categories of personal information as part of its services:

Social Security numbers or other government-issued identification numbers, except to the extent such information is contained within materials you voluntarily provide as part of a task request.

Biometric identifiers.

Precise geolocation data.

Health, medical, or insurance information.

Personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

LifeHandled does not actively monitor, filter, or screen submitted data to identify whether it contains these categories of information, and we have no obligation to do so. If you voluntarily submit such information, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to provide it, and you acknowledge that LifeHandled has no liability for any collection, use, disclosure, or retention of such information, except as expressly required by applicable law.

5. Sensitive Data
LifeHandled does not require you to submit any information classified as “sensitive” under applicable U.S. state laws or the GDPR, including but not limited to racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, biometric data, health information, sexual orientation, or political opinions. We do not actively monitor, filter, or screen submitted data to determine whether it contains such information, and we have no obligation to do so.

If you choose to include sensitive personal information in any materials you provide, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the lawful right to disclose it. By providing such information, you grant LifeHandled the right to collect, store, process, use, license, share, and sell such information for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to targeted advertising, marketing, analytics, and other commercial uses, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Where required by law, you may have the right to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information, including sensitive personal information, by submitting a request to hello@mytasktaken.com with the subject line “Opt-Out Request.”Any sale, license, or disclosure of sensitive personal information to third parties will not include your name or other information that directly identifies you, unless required by applicable law or with your explicit consent.

6. Responsibility for Submitted Data
You are solely responsible for the legality, truthfulness, and appropriateness of the data you submit to LifeHandled. You must not upload information that you are not legally permitted to share. You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of any information you submit, and we are not responsible for any loss of such information.

7. Data Accuracy, Integrity, and Retention
LifeHandled does not verify, monitor, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of any data you or any third party provide, transmit, or make available through our services. We are not responsible for any loss, alteration, disclosure, corruption, or destruction of such data, whether caused by you, third parties, system failures, unauthorized access, or other events, except as expressly required by applicable law. We have no obligation to retain any data for any period of time, and we may delete or destroy data at any time in our sole discretion, unless retention is expressly required by applicable law.

8. How We Use Your Data
We may use your data for the following purposes:

AI tools may operate without human review unless otherwise specified. Outputs may be imperfect or unpredictable, and we make no warranties as to their accuracy or suitability. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content or results before relying on them.

11. Data Retention
We retain submitted and system-generated data for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Provide services to you

Meet legal and accounting obligations

Maintain security, fraud prevention, and operational continuity

Where a retention period is required by law, we will comply with that timeframe. Otherwise, data may be stored indefinitely unless deletion is requested and legally required.

LifeHandled does not represent or warrant that our services, systems, or any data stored or transmitted on or through them will be free from loss, corruption, attack, interference, hacking, or other security intrusion, and we disclaim all liability relating thereto to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate security, protection, and backup of your own data and devices, and you acknowledge that you use our services entirely at your own risk.

You are solely responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate measures to secure and protect your own systems, devices, accounts, and data when using our services, including using up-to-date security software and safeguarding access credentials.

Third-Party Platforms and Providers
Our services rely on third-party platforms, vendors, and service providers for hosting, payment processing, communications, analytics, artificial intelligence tools, and other operational functions. These third parties operate under their own privacy, security, and contractual terms, which govern your relationship with them. LifeHandled does not control, and is not responsible or liable for, the acts, omissions, breaches, or failures of any third-party service provider, even if we use, integrate with, or recommend them in connection with our services. Your use of those third-party services is solely at your own risk, and you agree that LifeHandled shall have no liability for any loss, damage, unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of information arising from or related to third-party providers, except to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

14. U.S. State Privacy Law Compliance
LifeHandled complies with applicable privacy laws across all 50 U.S. states, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and Nevada privacy requirements.Some of these laws grant residents certain rights regarding their personal information, which may include:

Right to Know/Access — the right to request details about the personal information we collect, use, disclose, or share.

Right to Delete — the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

16. Anonymized and Aggregated Data
LifeHandled may create, use, share, or sell aggregated or de-identified information derived from your data for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to analytics, research, reporting, and commercial partnerships.
For purposes of this Policy:
“De-identified information” means information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and for which we have implemented technical safeguards and business processes to prevent re-identification.

We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified information, and we require any recipient of such data to contractually agree not to attempt re-identification.

This type of information is not considered personal information under U.S. state privacy laws.

17. Consumer Request Handling
To submit a request under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, email hello@mytasktaken.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Please include your full name, state of residence, the right you wish to exercise, and sufficient details to allow us to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. We may deny, ignore, or take no action on requests that are unverifiable, unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or made in bad faith. If we deny your request, certain states allow you to appeal that decision by replying to our denial with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

18. Authorized Agents
If you choose to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, we will require the agent to provide written permission signed by you and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.

19. Security Incident Notification
LifeHandled will determine, in its sole discretion and consistent with applicable law, whether any event involving unauthorized access to, or acquisition of, personal information in its possession constitutes a notifiable security incident. If notification is legally required, LifeHandled will provide such notice in a manner and within a time frame that complies with the minimum requirements of applicable law. LifeHandled may provide notice by any lawful method, including but not limited to email, posting a notice on its website, or other means reasonably calculated to reach affected individuals.LifeHandled’s obligations under this section are limited solely to those required by applicable law. We make no promise, representation, or guarantee that we will notify you of any security event that is not required by law to be disclosed, and you expressly agree that LifeHandled has no liability for failure to provide notice except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

20. Nevada Residents
We do not sell “covered information” as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information by contacting hello@mytasktaken.com.

21. International and GDPR Disclosures
LifeHandled operates in the United States. We do not actively market our services outside the U.S., but we may serve foreign residents who request U.S.-based tasks.If you are located outside the United States, you acknowledge and agree that:Your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

U.S. laws may not provide the same level of data protection as the laws in your country.

Where the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or similar laws apply, the lawful bases we may rely on to process your personal data include:Performance of a Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfill the services you request.

27. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LifeHandled, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, system failure, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, our services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not LifeHandled has been informed of the possibility of such damage.To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of LifeHandled for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, this Privacy Policy, or the use of our services, regardless of the form of the action, is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to LifeHandled for the services giving rise to the claim during the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) two hundred and fifty U.S. dollars ($250).

The foregoing limitations do not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct where such exclusion is not permitted.
